Overview
The DHB is assessing the feasibility of MRI services in the Wairarapa. If such a service adds value, the DHB will need to engage with the market to design and build new infrastructure at the Wairarapa Hospital site. A business case is being developed and this project will only proceed if it is approved. Outsourced management of such a service is a possibility being considered which may include reading services and an on-site radiologist.
