INTRODUCTION
1 Unitec Institute of Technology, as Principal, invites tenders for this project in accordance with this Request for Tender as contained in these Tender Documents.
2 In summary, the scope of work is interior refurbishment of Unitec Building 110 (B110). This will include the demolition of the existing fit-out and leading the design team to deliver a mix of open plan office spaces with supporting ancillary spaces, flat floored teaching spaces, break out social areas and connections to the newly refurbished Building 180.
3 B110 is an existing two-level structure built in the late 1970’s by the Ministry of Works. It has a gross floor area of circa 4,550 m2.
4 The timetable for the tender process may be amended by the Principal and tenderers will be advised of any change. The current indicative dates are set out in the Tender Information Schedule and reproduced below as follows:
