Whakatane District Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to deliver Stage 1 of the Whakatāne Floodwall Integration Project.

The works involve construction of public realm and landscape enhancements associated with the Bay of Plenty floodwall project, including site preparation, paving and hardscape works, planting, lighting, street furniture, signage, amenity improvements and associated civil infrastructure. The project will help integrate the floodwall into the surrounding town centre environment, creating an attractive, accessible and culturally responsive public space for the community.

This is an opportunity for contractors to be involved in a high-profile town centre project that will contribute to the ongoing revitalisation of Whakatāne's waterfront and urban environment.
