This RFP is issued by Whakatāne District Council, referred to below as “the Buyer” or “we” or “us”.
Whakatāne District Council (WDC) wish to procure an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution to replace the current solution. 

A multi-stage project has been initiated as follows: -  
Stage 1:  Procurement - Solution/Supplier Selection  
Stage 2:  Prepare, Design and Build 
Stage 3: Multi-staged implementation  
 
Stage 1 is a two-step procurement process comprised as follows: -  
1. Registration of Interest (ROI) – completed 15th February 2024 and
2. Request for Proposal (RFP) 

WDC have selected a short list of respondents to proceed to the RFP process, and as such rely on respondents satisfying the pre-conditions outlined in the ROI process (first procurement step).

The RFP procurement process commences with WDC providing the draft version of the RFP for respondents to review and provide comment. A question-and-answer session will follow for respondents, with a final version of the RFP document being made to the short list of respondents. It is expected that this process will ensure the best outcomes for all will be achieved.

This RFP process is intended to enable WDC to determine a preferred vendor/s and solution.
