The purpose of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to invite contractors to submit a proposal for the construction of a new wastewater pump station (PS) in the Coastlands area of Whakatāne. This pump station enables development of approximately 9 hectares of land (at and surrounding 59B Bunyan Road).
The construction consists of the following aspects:
The civil works for the installation of principal supplied items:
An FRP (fibreglass) terminal manhole of 1.5m diameter and 3.9m depth complete with safety access cover.
An FRP pump station wet well of 3.0m diameter and 4.9m depth complete with pumps, pipework and safety access cover.
A green dome odour filter.
Supply and installation of concrete valve chamber complete with valves.
Supply and installation of flowmeter manholes.
Supply and installation of interconnecting pipework and 255m long DN125 PE rising main.
Associated earthworks, noting that the pump station ground levels are being raised by approximately 1.7 m.
Design, fabrication and installation of a WDC approved electrical, control and telemetry system (by nominated electrical sub-contractor).
Commissioning of the system.
