The Whakatāne District Council (“Council”) and Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment have a joint venture project to accommodate recently displaced Edgecumbe residents as a result of Cyclone Cook & Debbie: The development comprises 3 stages totalling 20 prefabricated self-contained relocatable house units (“Units”). This request for tender (“RFT”) is stage one and is for the supply of 10 Units. These Units will be retained by Council for future tourist accommodation.
