Whangarei District Council (Council) is going to the market for Valuation Service Provider and District Valuation Roll Services.

Key information in regard to this contract includes:
 There are approximately 45,000 rating units in the district.
 Land and capital rating valuations are required for these properties, any additional rating apportionments and separate rating areas.
 Legislation requires Council to:
· prepare and maintain a district valuation roll which is used as the basis for rating
· revise its district valuation roll at intervals of not more than 3 years by revaluing every rating unit within its district to ensure that the roll represents values current as at the date of the revaluation
 These services are generally described as the District Valuation Roll (DVR) and Valuation Service Provider (VSP).
 Council is procuring valuation services to provide rating valuation information that is on time and accurate so the annual rates can be set meeting legislative and Council policy requirements.
 Data required for each rating unit and rating apportionment includes capital, improvement and land rating values, and other property attributes.


The Contract shall be for a period from 01 September 2026 to 30 August 2032
