We want to increase access to high quality contraceptive options for low income women and Maori and Pacific women, living in Waitematā DHB and in Auckland DHB. We are looking for appropriately skilled and qualified general practitioners, nurses and midwives to insert and remove long acting reversible contraception. This includes subdermal (Jadelle) and intra-uterine contraceptive devices (IUCDs) (Jaydess, Mirena and Copper IUDs). The services will be provided free to women who live with economic deprivation (Dep 9-10 of the deprivation index) and/or have a Community Services Card and/or are Maori or Pacific and/or experience addiction and/or mental health issues. You will be women-centred and have appropriate facilities from which to provide this clinical service.
This Registration of interest process will help us identify appropriate clinicians to deliver LARC services in relevant locations within Auckland and Waitematā DHB areas.
