Overview

The RESTORES Trial Prototype (Prototype) will be delivered in preparation for a future Randomised Controlled Trial. RESTORES is a new initiative that will provide additional case managed rehabilitation services to people in the workforce who experience a mild stroke, with a view to helping them return to work and retain employment. The Waitemata District Health Board is seeking to appoint a provider to deliver the case management service for the Prototype to 17 patients, between 18-60 years of age, for up to one year’s rehabilitation. The Waitemata District Health Board will provide governance, clinical leadership and project management for the Auckland based trial involving Auckland, North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals. Established provision of an effective, holistic, case managed rehabilitation service will be key selection criteria, so preference will be given to a Respondent that can demonstrate how they have achieved this to date, rather than what they could achieve given time
