Waitemata DHB is committed to improving health and well-being outcomes for all young people and with a particular focus on Maori, Pacific and young people living in areas of high deprivation. We are seeking a provider or providers of health services to support the improvement of health and well-being for young people (12 – 24 years of age) resident in the Waitemata District Health Board district.
Within the service scope there are three key service lines or strands:
• school based health services in identified secondary schools, Kura Kaupapa Maori and Alternative Education and Teen Parent Unit settings.
• primary care level youth clinics, and
• primary mental health and well-being services.
Each of these strands contains elements of sector leadership, clinical consultation and liaison, and youth engagement and youth development.
