Waitemata DHB - Waitakere Hospital - Demolish Building & Construct New Car-park (main contractor services)

(a) Site: Waitakere Hospital,

(b) Nature and Description of Service: Waitemata District Health Board is calling for Expressions of Interest from organisations with expertise and experience to provide main contractor (construction services) for works at Waitakere Hospital.

This project is to:
• Set-up site complete including installation of hoarding to form secure area around proposed site.
• Complete enabling works to identify, cap-off and/or divert existing services (electrical, heating hot water, hydraulic, fire protection and security services/ systems) to adjacent three plus buildings and proposed building to be demolished.
• Demolish Te Atarau building complete.
• Construct new 79 space car-park (to be sealed asphalt laid to falls) complete with infrastructure/ services.

Waitemata DHB is inviting submissions from interested parties to provide main contractor (construction works) services to complete enabling works, demolish existing Te Atarau Building, and construct new car-park.

Key dates:

• Response to this EOI – Close by 5pm on Friday 25th September

• EOI Review and Shortlist will be completed Wednesday 07
• October 2015
Submissions:
Interested companies are invited to submit expressions of interest to the Contracting Authority above containing:

i. Full contact details;
ii. Proven experience and track record as lead contractor working in Commercial / Hospital environments within the last three years;
iii. Capability and capacity to deliver
iv. Confirmed project personnel to be assigned for duration of project;
v. References/referees of four clients with whom you have worked on other Commercial/ Hospital contracts in the past 3 years;
vi. Evidence of current relevant insurances; and
vii. Copy of signed Health & Safety policy and track record of accidents/ near misses within company in the last 2 years.
