WDC Future Procurement Activity – HARP
Overview:
This notice provides advance notification of RFP for the Hokitika Airport Resilience Project (HARP) that will be released for tender in April 2026.
WDC are seeking to engage a competent contractor experienced in Airfield Construction to complete works over the 2026/2027 Summer season.
The scope of work includes:

Construction of lengthened starter extensions at each end of the existing main runway
Asphaltic concrete resealing works for existing runway, extensions and interface areas
Increasing the existing apron size to accommodate multiple aircraft movements
Upgrading airfield drainage to support the runway and apron works
