Overview

Wellington City Council (WCC) invites the submission of proposals for a suitable contracting organisation to support the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) for the Project to deliver the Wellington Sludge Minimisation Facility (SMF).

The successful bidder will be the Head Contractor for the Project. WCC expects to work with the Head Contractor to refine the design of the Facility, define a reasonable risk allocation for project execution, and develop robust execution plans for the Project. This will enable the Head Contractor to provide a commercial proposal for the delivery of the Project. The “scope” of that commercial proposal will include all construction works and may include elements of detailed design and procurement of process packages.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work in partnership with the WCC and its team of consultants to successfully deliver the next stages of the Project, WCC’s largest wastewater project to date.
