Overview

Wellington City Council is issuing this Request for Proposals on behalf of Let’s Get Wellington Moving (LGWM) and its programme partners, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, Greater Wellington Regional Council, Taranaki Whānui and Ngāti Toa.

We are running a single procurement process to engage Preferred Contractors for the Golden Mile and Thorndon Quay Hutt Road projects, who have the requisite capability and experience to provide the ECI services needed, and who are willing to work with LGWM and its project teams in a positive, collaborative manner.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work in partnership with LGWM and its design teams to deliver our first LGWM construction projects and influence public perception as to the standard of the overall improvements the Programme will deliver. At the same time, you will be help shape the levers for broader social outcomes to effect social, environment, sustainable and economic change with the Region.

We are seeking to engage Preferred Contractors (along with the Preferred Contractor’s key subcontractors) initially through an ECI pre-construction services contract (ECI Agreement) to act as the Projects’ construction advisors with input into the design and subsequently to price for (and potentially complete) the construction works. The term of the ECI Agreement is expected to be from March 2022 to August 2022.

The Respondent’s Information Schedule (refer Appendix A) must be completed and returned to our Point of Contact. Note that in the Respondent’s Information Schedule, if you would like an individual interactive meeting you must formally request one prior to the dates those meetings start.

All correspondence must be addressed to LGWM’s Procurement and Supply Chain Lead, email procurement@lgwm.nz Please register via this email to attend the supplier briefing on 18 November 2021.
