Invitation
This is our invitation to suitably qualified and experienced facilities management providers to work together with us for the city.
We are looking for a partner to help us manage and maintain our properties and facilities on behalf of the city.
We need a partner who will work with our people across
Council including asset management teams, Property, City Housing, Parks Sports and Recreation, Venues, Security, Wellington Zoo and Health and Safety.
We believe that good relationships with the right people and working together are key to delivering value to the city.
The successful delivery of facilities management is core to supporting Council’s strategic objectives and providing resources, accommodation and services to Wellington’s residents and businesses. As such, we are seeking Respondents that are able to demonstrate experience in delivering contracts of a similar size and complexity.
Council views the transition as a key opportunity to establish the foundation for long term partnership success. The future delivery of services will be designed in collaboration between the Contractor and Council during the Transition In Period. As such we are seeking a partner with the requisite capability and capacity to support the transition in services of a similar scale and complexity.
Key to the delivery of the desired future state is a robust technology solution that provides real time data to support proactive asset management solutions. We are seeking Respondents that can demonstrate capability to support a diverse asset portfolio and the provision of detailed operational and asset management data and reporting.
The scope of works for facilities management services consists of:
• Transition in services
• Management services
• Operational services including scheduled maintenance, reactive maintenance, low value capital works, capital works projects and property services.
