This initial procurement exercise relates to the first step in the identification of a main contractor for the construction and delivery of the Frank Kitts Park Children’s Playground Upgrade.
The completion of the Children’s Playground Upgrade will restore it to the preeminent playground within Wellington City through upgrade of existing play equipment to enhance its appeal and improve the variety of play experiences available for a wider range of ages. Preliminary drawings have been included with this ROI document to allow understanding of the scope and nature of the design.
Council is looking for credible local contractors who have the capacity, capability and experience to deliver a successful civil works construction project. Successful suppliers will demonstrate a good track record in Health and Safety, working in a public space and quality assurance and can provide examples of previous comparable experience.
In responding to this ROI, a Respondent will have the opportunity to successfully deliver the contract works and helping to create what will become a landmark facility.
