As part of a new Public Transport service contract due to commence in January 2024 which involves deployment of zero emission buses, Waikato Regional Council is planning to provide depot locations and EV charging facilities to support the service. Two depot locations have been identified at 3853 Cambridge Road in Cambridge and 29 Havelock Street in Kihikihi for overnight bus parking, EV charging & driver facilities.
We are looking to partner with a provider with the skills, resources and track record to deliver infrastructure civil works at the Cambridge and Kihikihi depot locations; earthworks, concrete works, installation of water, power and communications services, fencing and landscaping. We require a provider who has demonstrated experience with similar works in New Zealand and can meet our timeframes for commissioning.
