Waikato Regional Council (the Council) invites tenders from Council Biosecurity Pre-Approved Contractors to undertake maintenance possum control in the following Priority Possum Control Areas (PPCAs) and possum and rat control in the Hamilton HALO project (HALO) sectors:
PPCAs (Possum control)
- Mokauiti 1 Farmland (7,129 ha)
- Mokauiti 2 Farmland (12,379 ha)
- Whitehall Te Miro (14,612 ha)
- Maungakawa (997 ha)
- Te Tapui B (1,367 ha)
- Tiroa (10,664 ha)
- Mangakino (6,144 ha)
Hamilton Halo Sectors (Possum and rat control)
- Hope Bush (167 ha)
- Johnstone's (195 ha)
- Te Miro (402 ha)
- Pukemako (78 ha)
- Tirohanga Road (136 ha)
The Council has elected to release all of the above PPCAs/Halo sectors for tender together. The Council invites tenders for one or more PPCAs/Halo sectors.
