Waikato Regional Council (the Council) invites tenders for Criterion Bridge Left Bank Stoplogs Replacement - Groundworks which will include all groundworks associated with installing new seven tonne rolling floodgates. The contract includes working with Council’s supplier of the gates to facilitate installation on site.
Due to the works being on State Highway 26 and its surrounding area, Tenderers need to have a good track record on health and safety. They also need to be fully conversant with registration, specification, permitting and approval requirements of the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA).
Attendance at a site inspection to be held at 12 noon, 1 May 2018 is compulsory to ensure that all Tenderers have seen the site, understood the hazards and issues associated with the site/project, and have had an opportunity to ask questions of Council’s Operations staff and Project Manager about the project. Tenders received from Tenderers who do not attend the compulsory site inspection will not be evaluated by Council.
