Overview
This tender is for the replacement of Pauls Wharf Floodgate. Pauls Wharf floodgate is situated on the Piako River left bank stopbank some 1.5km north of Ngatea. The floodgate jointly services a catchment of some 763 ha in conjunction with the Rawerawe Floodgate and the Rawerawe pump station. Details of the upgrade work are noted in the RFT but are generally: site clearance, design, supply and installation of temporary works, removal of existing floodgate, installation of pipes and new floodgate, supply and installation of precast units and retaining walls, general civil site works and preparation and supply of as-built drawings for certification. Note: WRC will procure and supply some materials to the contractor.
