Overview

This Request for Proposal (RFP) invites suitably qualified suppliers to submit a proposal for
Contract 1075 - Professional Services Structures and Geotechnical, for inspections and
asset management through structural inspections and asset management of the key
structures in the roads, recreational reserves, and cycle trails across Waitaki District.
The contract covers bridges, retaining walls, and other structures across the Waitaki district.
The appointed consultant will act as our Structure Inspection Engineer and lead all aspects
of inspection, monitoring, reporting, and maintenance programming. At times council may
require additional advice or design work in relation to the maintenance and renewal of our
structures. The geotechnical services will cover coastal erosion protections works, retaining
structures including reinforced earth retaining walls and stone basket/bag mass retaining
structures.
The initial contract term is three years, with two rights of renewal of one year each, subject to
satisfactory performance.
