Waitaki District Council is undertaking a significant signage upgrade project as part of the Hāpaitia te Waitaki: Uplifting Waitaki Economic Development Strategy. This initiative aims to promote sustainable, inclusive growth across the district by strengthening regional identity, fostering community pride, and attracting new residents, businesses, and visitors. A refreshed district brand and visual identity have been developed, and this project will bring that to life through the installation of new township and gateway signage.
The existing signage across the district is outdated and no longer reflects the Council’s vision or brand. Through this procurement, we are seeking a suitably experienced and capable contractor to manage the fabrication, supply, and installation of the new signs based on designs already completed and approved by Council. No further design input is required; however, we invite respondents to provide material recommendations that align with the design intent and maximise durability, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
