Overview

This RFP is issued by Waitaki District Council (WDC), referred to below as “Council”. Waitaki District Council operate the streetlight network through the Waitaki area. This network consists of approximately 2600 lights for the purpose of lighting the transport network for the purpose of safety for our communities.

This proposal relates to providing streetlight maintenance for the streetlight network to ensure that the streetlight network is working effectively for the safety of the Waitaki community. This includes
• Monitoring the street light Central Management System (CMS) and reacting and repairing faults on the network
• Inspection of the network including day and night audits and programme of proactive maintenance.
• Emergency works response to damaged assets and crashes involving streetlights to make electrically safe.
• Installation and removal of festive decorations/lighting/banners and other historical banners on streetlight poles
• Installation of new and renewal streetlights including LED lights, streetlight columns, brackets/outreaches and CMS controllers
• All work and asset condition assessments to be updated into Asset and Work Manager (AWM)
