Waikato DHB are making changes to their ED Front of House and ICU facilities at Waikato Hospital to better manage the current COVID-19 situation and help keep patients safe.
In order to do this, they wish to undertake a reconfiguration of the front of house area of the Emergency Department which will include demolition of some of the existing structure and construction of new areas as part of a staged process to ensure the Emergency Department continues to operate. There will also be changes to the ICU Unit 3 area which will include demolition of part of the existing space and construction of new areas.
