Waikato DHB is looking to identify and select an electronic forms and workflow solution to support the organisation in meeting the under-noted objectives.
BO1. To improve the delivery of clinical services by enabling Waikato DHB to accelerate workflows and streamline processes, including task-based activity, so improving the patient care journey
BO2. To improve effectiveness of clinical practice and service delivery that supports and improves clinical decision-making for better patient outcomes from referral through to discharge
BO3. To reduce Waikato DHB’s unnecessary care and clinical service delivery costs and optimise clinician time through the use of technology
BO4. To have timely access to accurate patient data at a critical point in time in an acute and non-acute setting in order to manage the patient journey more safely, efficiently and practically
BO5. To create a data asset that enables Waikato DHB to provide insights to Waikato DHB staff members, plus to Ministry of Health, to patients and to other agencies
BO6. To provide technology that supports strong data governance by Waikato DHB, avoidance of data duplication, metadata development, data mapping for data interoperability, and data standardisation.
