The five District Health Boards (DHBs) of the Midland region are seeking respondents to provide options for a regional Electronic Prescribing and Administration (ePA) solution, including Medicines Reconciliation, to be implemented throughout the inpatient settings at each DHB.
We are seeking to identify ePA option/s that will support the region to standardise and streamline the ePA process/s across the many different disciplines at each DHB.
The vision for this solution is to standardise, digitise and make accessible medication data, medication decision support and deliver improved patient safety, improved quality of clinical and service delivery with better information available to support transitions of care and the medication treatment of our patients across the Midland region
