Waikato DHB has had its current Human Resources Information System (HRIS) since around 2001 and is seeking to re-test the market to find an HRIS solution that will serve the Waikato DHB well into the future.

Waikato DHB is seeking an HRIS solution that ensures Waikato DHB:

c. Is fully complaint with the requirements of the New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM) and specifically in relation to the management of role based security

To achieve these outcomes Waikato DHB is seeking an HRIS solution that:

• Improves the effectiveness of payroll processing by allowing the processing of employee payroll accurately, on time and in accordance with business rules and legislation
• Improves the effectiveness of payroll processing by allowing improved accuracy, quality and reliability of workforce data and information
• Improves the efficiency of payroll processing by reducing manual workarounds, errors and temporary patches
• Allows Waikato DHB to provide a shared payroll service to other Midland DHB’s if required in the future
• Supports reduction in staff turnover by providing improved talent management capability
• Supports reduction of employee-related paper records
• Provides improved adherence to security
