Overview

Waipa District Council wants to upgrade the existing Alpha Street Water Treatment Plant (WTP), located in Cambridge. The current plant is set to be demolished following this year’s summer period, and a new plant to be built in its place. The new plant will support the Cambridge community by providing necessary resilience within the Cambridge water reticulation network, i.e. firefighting levels of service, and utilising the current consented water take consent held by Council.

Waipa District Council (Council) invites tenders for Supply of Membrane and Peripherals for Alpha Street Water Treatment Plant, and a AS/NZS4911:2003 contract, for the supply of equipment without installation.

Waipa District Council seeks tenders from qualified suppliers/contractors to design, supply, delivery, and provide commissioning support for a membrane filtration system at the Alpha Street Water Treatment Plant (WTP) in Cambridge, New Zealand. This critical infrastructure upgrade will replace the aging conventional clarifier/media filter system with a modern, resilient membrane-based process capable of handling variable raw water conditions, including high turbidity events (>10 NTU) typical of Waikato River-sourced water.
