Overview

The Leading People Programme has been run successfully by the Human Resources team for the past eight years. Its focus is on leadership development for senior organisational leaders in both academic and professional roles. A recent comprehensive review considered feedback from participants, facilitators and staff observations, and the current organisational context, as Victoria embarks on a fresh strategic trajectory with a new senior leadership team at the helm.

The recommended changes from this review are designed to ensure the Leading People Programme (LPP) is strategically aligned and develops the capabilities expected of Victoria’s senior leaders.

The redeveloped LPP demonstrates Victoria’s commitment to developing a new, capable cohort of senior personnel supporting and leading change.

The purpose of this EOI is to identify individuals who have the skills and knowledge to facilitate the new workshop programme.

The programme will span 8-10 months, and incorporate a residential two-day programme induction and monthly day-long workshops held off site. A single Programme Facilitator will work alongside the Programme Director (internal) to plan workshops focused on the learning outcomes. Key features of these workshops will be: pre-reading and workshop activities, tools and resources, guest speakers, case studies and exemplars.
