The University of Waikato is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced solar contractor to provide the design, supply, installation, commissioning, and integration of rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems as part of Stage 2 of the University’s Solar Programme.

The works comprise two sites: M Block at the Hamilton Campus and the TCBD building at the Tauranga Campus.

This project forms part of the University’s sustainability and carbon reduction programme and its pathway toward carbon neutrality by 2030. The University is seeking a turnkey design-and-construct solution for replacement of the existing PV panels, with upgrades to existing associated equipment only where required or recommended at M Block, Hamilton Campus and a new installation at TCBD, Tauranga Campus including all design, supply, installation, electrical integration, commissioning, approvals, monitoring and handover requirements.
