The University of Waikato wishes to procure construction services to refurbish and extend an existing engineering laboratory for teaching purposes and to extend an existing mezzanine floor structure for the same. Both portions of work are internal to the existing building foot print however due to their locations within the building will need to be isolated as separate sites. As a result of this tender the University is anticipating a lump sum contract agreement under NZS 3915:2005 with the successful tenderer that meets its requirements. The build environment surrounding the site presents limiting access parameters which may impact on methodology and resource choices when tendering. The construction works will also include for HVAC
