Overview
The Student Learning Management Systems (SLMS) programme incorporates two projects:
a) The Student Management System (SMS) project:
Implementation of a new student management system (SITS: Vision) and associated change management activities. This project comprises approximately 95% of the SLMS programme; and
b) The Learning Management System (LMS) project:
Upgrade the University’s current learning management system (Moodle) and consolidate learning management functionality from other systems into either the LMS or the SMS. This comprises the remaining 5% of the SLMS programme.
The University of Waikato wishes to engage independent quality assurance services for both projects.
