The University of Otago is a large, complex organisation in which approval authority is dispersed in multiple ways. Approvals can be clear-cut (directly via financial and organisational hierarchies) but as often move sideways across hierarchies or are based on other factors such as physical location. We would like to improve operational efficiency with respect to complex approvals, to be able to move automatically between those approvers described in the spreadsheets and have the capability to automate some types of approval-related decision making. In time, we would like to have the capability to expand automation efforts to facilitate other types of decision making.

We are looking for a vendor, or partnership of vendors who can work with us not only in determining how best to meet the business needs outlined here via this Request for Information, but also how to develop, integrate and deliver a new way of working, and thinking about our work.
