This Request for Tender (RFT) is an invitation to suitably qualified suppliers to submit a Tender for the Serial Block Face Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope contract opportunity.

The key objective of this procurement is to enable the establishment of a high-resolution Serial Block Face Scanning Electron Microscope (SBF FEG-SEM) as a novel technique for research and teaching, particularly in the life sciences at the University of Otago, thereby helping to maintain and broaden its international reputation for excellence.
