The University of Otago is expanding its CCTV network to public streets surrounding the Campus in Dunedin. The aim of these CCTV cameras is to deter antisocial behaviour and criminal behaviour and keep our staff, students and the public safe in those areas.

The purpose of this ROI is to provide the University with the appropriate information to be able to identify those businesses which are interested in and, in the University’s view, capable of delivering the Installation and Configuration of CCTV Cameras, Wireless Transmitters and Wireless Receivers in a timely, efficient, cost effective and safe manner.

This tender process is to select a supplier for –
• The installation of CCTV cameras and wireless transmitters at 26 separate locations on the North Campus.
• The installation of wireless receivers at a further 26 locations.
• The configuration of the equipment on the University network.
• The programming of the recording servers that collect the CCTV camera data.

This tender has been completed.
