Wānanga are New Zealand Tertiary Education Institutions that deliver educational programmes and opportunities within a Māori environment in accordance with the Education and Training Act 2020 (the Act). Te Wānanga o Aotearoa (TWoA) is one of three recognised Wānanga.

Te Wānanga o Aotearoa consists of three Takiwā (regions) across New Zealand and operates from over 80 sites throughout the country. The location of these sites can be viewed on Te Wānanga o Aotearoa website. Te Wānanga o Aotearoa Head Office functions are centralised in Te Awamutu and Hamilton. The Takiwā are split into the following groups:

• Te Ihu Takiwā
• Te Waenga Takiwā
• Te Kei Takiwā

TWoA is looking for a provider who can provide each takiwā with its own complete set of gowns and graduation items including the design printing, which will improve flexibility in scheduling ceremonies, and creating a consistent graduation experience for tauira (students) nationwide.
