This Registration of Interest (ROI) seeks information from Naval Architects with the necessary experience, capabilities and capacity in designing Ro-Pax Ferries.
The Naval Architects will be required to assist the new company throughout the phases of procurement, design and build of the new ferries.
We do not want proposals or speculative approaches from Naval Architects that have never been involved in design of SOLAS compliant Ro-Pax ferries.
The NZ Treasury is looking for respondents who have the skills, knowledge, and expertise to provide Naval Architecture and marine engineering services in the field of Ro-Pax ferry design.
The respondents must have capabilities to provide services in all disciplines of ship’s design and proven experience in supporting the end-to-end ship’s design process from concept to detail including support with maker selection.
