The purpose of the Green Investment Fund (GIF) is to invest in assets that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and do so in a manner that both mobilises additional private capital and allows the fund to be commercially independent.

The key objective of this procurement is to provide an independent and evidenced based assessment of the opportunities for the GIF to develop and deploy different financial products to catalyse investment in lower GHG emissions assets/technologies.
