The purpose of this Invitation to Partner is to select a Tāmaki-based social service (or consortium of local providers) to partner with to design and deliver elements of a new intensive support service, called Whānau by Whānau.
Whānau by Whānau is a service that Tāmaki Regeneration Company (TRC) is establishing for whānau in Tāmaki with complex and multiple needs, who are living in crisis and struggling to get by on a daily basis. We want to support whānau, who want to create change for themselves, by helping them achieve their aspirations and improve their long-term outcomes.
We have worked with community, researchers and expert advisors to develop a framework for the Whānau by Whānau service with a number of interdependent elements. The details of how the service will operate in practice will be designed and developed by the partners who we bring on board to deliver the service.
