The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to seek a development partner for the development of Tāmaki Regeneration Limited (TRL) sites in the Derna Tobruk neighbourhood in Panmure.
The TRL land holdings at Derna Tobruk sit across 29 sites covering approximately 19,870m2. In this neighbourhood, new market and social homes will be built in three stages over the next few years. The development will also be supported by a range of placemaking and regeneration initiatives driven by TRL including enhancing the existing parks and providing a new education and health hub (at Tāmaki Primary School).
This RFP focuses on the purchase and development of sites in Derna Tobruk Stage 1. Stage 1 comprises approximately 5,139m2 of land at Tobruk and Sollum Roads. TRL has progressed resource consent for 19 dwellings.
Derna Tobruk Stages 2 and 3 comprise approximately 14,731m2 of land across the remainder of the neighbourhood. The developer partner appointed through this RFP for Stage 1 will be extended the right of first refusal/right to negotiate for Stage 2 and subsequently for Stage 3.
