Overview

Tāmaki Regeneration Company (TRC) has been mandated by its shareholders, New Zealand Government and Auckland Council, to lead a first-of-its kind physical and social regeneration programme across the Auckland suburbs of Glen Innes, Panmure, and Point England (jointly known as Tāmaki).

TRC has opened a procurement process to select a consortium to partner with on the first phase of the programme, redeveloping approximately 1,000 existing social houses in northern Tāmaki into approximately 2,500 new mixed tenure houses.

TRC is seeking Expressions of Interest from consortia comprising a development partner responsible for design, delivery and sale of the mixed tenure housing; and an investment partner to take long-term ownership and management of the rebuilt social houses (up to 1,300 new houses).

A briefing session will be held for potential respondents on 17 August 2016 in Auckland.
