Taranaki Regional Council (TRC) invites proposals from invited suppliers only for the delivery of a new corporate website.

This is a closed Request for Proposal (RFP) issued in accordance with TRC’s approved Procurement Plan and is limited to suppliers appointed to the All‑of‑Government (AoG) Digital Services Panel. Responses from non‑AoG suppliers will not be accepted.

TRC’s corporate website is a critical public‑facing platform that supports statutory obligations, service delivery and community engagement. With the current platform reaching end‑of‑support in April 2027, this procurement presents an opportunity to replace ageing technology and establish a modern, accessible and sustainable website aligned with the Council’s Digital Strategy.

The Council is seeking a collaborative delivery partner to design, build and implement a user‑centered, accessible and future‑ready website. The engagement will follow a discovery‑led delivery approach, with scope refinement undertaken in partnership with the successful supplier.

Key outcomes include improved accessibility, usability, sustainable content management, reduced digital risk, and a platform capable of evolving over time.

This RFP operates under a two‑envelope submission model, with separate non‑priced and priced responses.

All questions and clarifications must be submitted via the GETS Q&A portal. Responses must be submitted electronically through GETS by the stated closing date and time.
