This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation to the Respondent General Lines Panel ( as indicated in Contestable Works ROI SUP-16954) to submit a Proposal for the Tactical Thermal Upgrading (TTU) of the CML-FKN-A 110 kV double circuit transmission line

The procurement will enable Transpower (Aurora and PowerNet) to upgrade the CML-FKN A line to the best possible rating and enable the FKN GXP to meet the forecasted demand of around 120 MW in 2031 by
• implementing a Tactical Thermal Uprating (TTU), raising the maximum operating temperature from 50°C to 100°C,.
• ensuring that statutory electrical clearances are maintained
• increasing the N-1 capacity limits of the circuits;
