The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to invite suitable parties to provide information regarding the supply of a Fibre and Patch Management software solution.
Transpower seeks to enhance and develop its patch and cable asset management systems and related processes to better enable Transpower to capture documentation, drawings and files to manage its fibre optic network including all passive network components (e.g. lines, cables, patch cables etc) for both inter- and intra- site networks and across multiple geographic locations.
Transpower wish to gain more information regarding available solutions in the marketplace and an indication of whole-of-life costs. Transpower also seeks to understand best practice fibre and patch management business processes. We are willing to adopt new ways of working to achieve our outcomes.
