Timaru District Council (TDC) is seeking a suitably experienced contractor to deliver the Stafford Street and Barnard Street Infrastructure Replacement project. The successful Tenderer will complete detailed design, supply materials, undertake construction, testing and commissioning and hand over of all installed infrastructure assets. The following bullet point list, is a non-exhaustive summary of the extent of work to be undertaken under this Contract. For more information on the extent of works, refer to the Principal’s Requirements.
• Complete detailed design, to further the Principal’s preliminary design information.
• Prepare design resources including Detailed Design Report; Detailed Design Drawings; Specifications, Safety in Design records, tracking documents and design endorsements.
• Coordinate with TDC, the Engineer, the Road Controlling Authority, Network Utility Operators, other contractors, businesses, property owners and the public.
• Construct the identified water supply, wastewater and stormwater network works on Stafford Street and Barnard Street.
• Install raingardens and associated stormwater structures.
• Maintain continuity of reticulated services and manage any planned interruptions through approved procedures.
• Complete all works for Barnard Street Reticulation Improvements by the end of the 2026 calendar year and all works for Stafford Street Reticulation Improvements by the middle of February 2027.
