Overview

We are seeking a supplier to manufacture, supply, and install museum grade exhibition cabinets and display systems for Te Kura Marumaru – South Canterbury Museum located in Timaru. The cabinets will be used to safely display a range of collection items while providing clear, engaging viewing for visitors.
The display systems must meet recognised museum standards for conservation, security, durability, and accessibility, and be appropriate for use in a New Zealand public museum environment. This project forms part of our wider commitment to high quality exhibitions that protect taonga and collection material while enhancing public understanding and enjoyment.
This is an opportunity to showcase your work and contribute to a New Zealand museum on a high profile exhibition project, delivering long lasting infrastructure that supports the care and presentation of nationally and regionally significant collections.

The successful supplier will benefit from:
• A clearly defined, professionally managed museum project
• The opportunity to demonstrate specialist expertise in a public cultural institution
• Potential for an ongoing relationship for future exhibition and display work
• A procurement process conducted in line with New Zealand Government Procurement Rules, ensuring fairness, transparency, and value for money

Suppliers with a commitment to quality outcomes are encouraged to submit a Proposal.
