Timaru District Council is seeking a contractor to construct the next stage of the Central South Cycle Trail. This stage runs from Pleasant Point to Cave along the State Highway Eight (SH8) Corridor, in places crossing into the Timaru District Road Corridor, as well as Private Land and LINZ land.
The successful contractor will need to demonstrate
- capability and capacity to deliver the scope of the contract within the required timeframe
- able to co-ordinate works with the Central South Cycle Trail Committee, the two Road Controlling Authorities (RCAs) and other property owners
- appropriate methodology to deliver a high quality cycle trail
- robust processes for managing safety and environmental risks
- Proactive approach to communications and stakeholder management
