This is Advance Notice that Timaru District Council will be going to market seeking Expressions of Interest in establishing a commercial cafe in a relocatable building on Caroline Bay. To be located off Marine Parade, next to the carpark fronting the beach volleyball courts, the cafe will add a further dimension to the visitor experience at one of Timaru District's key attractions. The cafe site is well placed to provide a service to the many types of bay users and people working in the Port area.
Timaru District Council will issue an invitation for Expressions of interest on 31 October 2022 via the GETS electronic tendering system. The Council will evaluate the Expressions of interest with the intent of releasing a Request for Proposal to shortlisted parties in December 2022.
