The purpose of this Notice of Information (NOI) is inform the market of an upcoming tender opportunity for the delivery of pre-construction and construction services for Project Maunga Stage 2, the Taranaki Base Hospital Redevelopment New Plymouth, New Zealand (the Programme).

The Taranaki District Health Board (TDHB) anticipate issuing a Request for Tender (RFT) in February 2020, with the intention of identifying a single preferred supplier for delivery, on a staged basis, for the full scope of Project Maunga Stage 2, alongside the preferred supplier also providing pre-construction services (or Early Contractor Involvement (ECI)).

It is expected that the preferred supplier will as part of the pre-construction services be a member of the project team to assist with and provide into input into the delivery of the Programme, and in addition, will be invited to develop pricing at different stages for the subsequent delivery phases (SRMP Works, Enabling Works, and NEWB Construction).
