TCDC is looking for a contractor to Restore and maintain coastal dunes in Mercury Bay to enhance community resilience.

Coastal dune landscapes have been severely degraded by human activity, and this has caused sand dunes to be lost or damaged. For Mercury Bay coastal dunes, the associated back dune is reduced or absent, and foredune width is typically greatly reduced. The impact of coastal erosion affects public and private properties and public and private assets. The Council is deeply committed to coastal restoration as an action to enhance community resilience.
